About Schedule Register Package Adjudicators Fees Guest Performances

We are very excited about starting a Cantando festival in Montreal in 2019.  We are thrilled to be using the renowned Oscar Peterson Concert Hall and the Loyola Chapel at Concordia University for this year’s festival.  Participants can choose from a competitive or non-competitive adjudication. 30 minute performances and 50 minute adjudication workshops are allotted for bands, jazz ensembles and choirs.  Evening concerts on both Friday and Saturday night will feature outstanding area musicians and are an integral part of the festival.

Updates regarding all aspects of the festival will be added on an ongoing basis. Check the “Schedule” tab to determine a time that works best for you. Don’t forget that all performances occur on Friday, March 15 and adjudication workshops on the following day, Saturday, March 16.  To register for the festival, click the “Register” tab and sign up for both a performance and a workshop. Be sure to check the “Fees” tab as well so that either Affinity Tours or your own tour group can determine your festival/tour fees.

The “Package” tab will be updated in the late fall and gives very specific information about all aspects of the festival. It is very important to read this carefully so you can plan all aspects of your trip to Montreal. The “Adjudicators” tab will be updated throughout the fall but will include bios of adjudicators selected for the festival. The “Program” tab includes information on the evening concerts including guest ensembles and soloists and in some cases, the specific program they will be performing
