Cantando Fees

Balance of fees is due March 15.

Fees at the Cantando Festivals are calculated per participant per ensemble.

  1. Fees:
    • Concert Band fee = number of students x $100
      **Minimum fee of $2,250, maximum fee of $5,000 per ensemble
    • Choir fee = number of students x $100
      **Minimum fee of $2,250, maximum fee of $5,000 per ensemble
    • Jazz Band/Choir fee = $1,500
  2. Balance of fees: subtract any deposits you have already paid
  3. Write the name of your school or your invoice number on your cheque or include it in the “message” portion of an EFT or e-transfer.
  4. The $750 deposit is NOT REFUNDABLE. The $1000 second deposit is NOT REFUNDABLE after February 15. However, these fees can be used against a future year’s attendance.

Payment information
  • This information is on your invoice which you can find and print on the Director Dashboard.
  • The FIRST DEPOSIT for Edmonton and Whistler is due 2 weeks after registration.
    • If you’ve registered 2 ensembles, your first deposit is $1,500.
  • The SECOND DEPOSIT for Edmonton and Whistler is due on December 15.
    • If you’ve registered 2 ensembles, your second deposit is $2,000.
  • The BALANCE OF FEES for Edmonton and Whistler is due on March 15.
    • This is for ALL ensembles registered. If you are unable to pay the balance by March 15, email Dennis Prime at dprime@cantando.org.
  • We are now accepting VISA, Mastercard, and American Express, but there will be a 3% fee added to your balance for any fees paid with a credit card.
    • Example: $1,000 paid by credit card + $2,000 paid by cheque = $30 credit card processing fee
  • Send e-transfers or EFT information requests to dprime@cantando.org.
  • Call 780-940-1806 for credit card payments.
