The mass choir is one of the highlights of the Cantando Festival.

  • The repertoire is decided in February and is both posted on the website and emailed to choral directors.
  • Directors need to order the piece and rehearse with their ensemble prior to the festival. It does not need to be memorized, but it is helpful.
  • Choristers are expected to attend the rehearsal Tuesday, time TBD but is typically around 5:15.
    • This can be a tight turnaround. Do not plan to order food and eat in the Winspear. They have requested that NO ENSEMBLES eat in the hall.
  • Register for the rehearsals on the Edmonton Clinics and Concerts page – accessible from the Director Dashboard.
  • The Mass Choir performs at the Tuesday night concert in the Winspear Centre for Music.
