Hello, Edmonton choirs and bands — welcome back. We hope your summer treated you well and that you’ve had a real chance to rest before the school year picks up speed again.
To our directors: thanks for everything you do over the break — the planning, the score study, the quiet logistics that make the rest of the year possible. To our students and families: we’re glad you’re back, and we can’t wait to hear what you’ve been working on.
We’re already deep into planning for the 2026–2027 Edmonton Cantando Festival. Concerts are being booked, adjudicators are being lined up, and we’re putting the pieces together for what’s shaping up to be a strong season. We’ll share more details as things firm up.
Registration is open. If you know your ensembles for the year, get them in early — it helps us plan, and it locks in your spot.
