Below are the available clinics and concerts for the Edmonton Cantando Festival. You are free to choose the clinics and concerts you wish to attend. This is not written in stone. If you find your numbers change, pop back in and let us know who is coming. If you need to attend a later concert because your transportation was delayed, come to the later concert. If you find that you need to go to an earlier clinic because inclement weather is on its way, go to the earlier clinic. The numbers provide us with a baseline of whom to expect.
For more information on our concerts please go to our Concerts and Other Events page.
If you have suggestions for clinics or guest artists for the concerts, please email Dr. Dennis Prime, Director, at dprime@cantando.org.

- All instrumental clinics will take place in Strathcona Baptist Church and Knox Evangelical Free Church. The churches are in easy walking distance from the Yardbird Suite where Jazz bands are performing and the Old Strathcona Performing Arts Centre where the concert band workshops are being held.
- Instrumental clinics are voluntary. There are no extra costs to attend.
- Our clinics are taught by some of the finest instrumental educators in Edmonton.
- Directors are encouraged to walk around to the different clinics and catch a bit of what is going on.
- The clinics are “come as you are”. They are open to all students of all levels. Our clinicians do their best to give something to everyone.
- Do not forget to BRING YOUR INSTRUMENT.

- Concerts are held in a variety of venues. We encourage you to attend as many as possible.
- The venues request that no food or drink (other than water bottles) be allowed inside.
- Concerts are planned for an hour. Occasionally, they go overtime. Please plan for this contingency.
